2. Subscription Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation Rights
You may cancel your Commit To X subscription at any time, for any reason, without penalty. We believe in giving our users complete control over their subscriptions, and there are no long-term commitments or cancellation fees.
2.2 How to Cancel
To cancel your subscription, you can:
- Log in to your dashboard and navigate to "Manage Subscription" from the user menu
- Access the subscription management portal through your account settings

2.3 Cancellation Effective Date
When you cancel your subscription, the cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. This means:
- Monthly subscriptions: You will retain access to all Pro features until the end of the current monthly billing cycle
- Annual subscriptions: You will retain access to all Pro features until the end of the current annual billing cycle
You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods after cancellation. Your subscription will automatically expire, and you will revert to limited access once the paid period ends.
2.4 Access After Cancellation
After your subscription expires following cancellation:
- You will no longer be able to generate new AI-enhanced posts
- You will lose access to unlimited repositories and post generation features
- Previously generated posts will remain viewable but cannot be regenerated
- Your account data will be retained according to our Privacy Policy
3. Refund Policy
3.1 No Refund Policy
All subscription payments are non-refundable. This applies to both monthly and annual subscription plans. We do not provide refunds or credits for:
- Partial months or years of service
- Unused features or services
- Subscriptions cancelled mid-billing cycle
- Dissatisfaction with the service
- Duplicate or accidental charges (subject to verification and our sole discretion)
3.2 Rationale
Our no-refund policy is in place because:
- We offer a 3-day free trial period, allowing users to evaluate the service before committing to a paid subscription
- Digital services are consumed immediately upon purchase and cannot be "returned"
- The costs of providing the service (AI API usage, infrastructure, support) are incurred from the moment you subscribe
- Clear cancellation options are available at any time to prevent future charges
3.3 Free Trial Period
We strongly encourage all new users to take advantage of our 3-day free trial before subscribing. During the trial period:
- You have full access to all Pro features
- You can cancel at any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged
- Your credit card will only be charged if you continue past the trial period
If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged, and no refund will be necessary.
4. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
4.1 Billing Errors
If you believe you have been charged in error (such as after cancelling your subscription), please contact us immediately at support@committox.com. We will investigate the issue and, if confirmed as an error on our part, we will issue a refund for the erroneous charge.
4.2 Service Outages
In the unlikely event of extended service outages or technical issues that prevent you from using the service for a significant portion of your billing period, we may, at our sole discretion, offer account credits or other compensation. This does not constitute a general refund policy.
4.3 Legal Requirements
In jurisdictions where non-refundable policies are not permitted by law, refunds may be provided as required by applicable consumer protection laws. Such refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis in compliance with local regulations.
5. Payment Disputes

Initiating an unwarranted chargeback may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of your account
- Loss of access to all services and data
- Restrictions on future account creation

6. Subscription Modifications
If you wish to switch between monthly and annual billing:
- Upgrading to annual: You can upgrade at any time. The change will take effect at the end of your current monthly billing period, and you will be charged the annual rate
- Downgrading to monthly: You can downgrade at any time. The change will take effect at the end of your current annual billing period
No refunds or prorations are provided when changing subscription plans. Any unused portion of your current subscription is forfeited when changing plans.
7. Reactivation
If you cancel your subscription and later decide to return, you can reactivate your account at any time by:
- Logging into your dashboard
- Selecting a new subscription plan
- Completing the payment process
You will be treated as a new subscriber and will receive a new 3-day free trial if eligible (first-time subscribers only). Your previous data and settings will be restored where possible.
8. Changes to This Policy
Commit To X reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of our service after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
